How much does photo restoration cost in Malaysia?
Restoration is included with any print — there is no separate restoration fee. You pay only the print price: RM 0.35 for 2R, RM 0.60 for 3R or 4R, plus shipping (RM 8 West Malaysia, RM 14 East Malaysia, or free self-collect in Penang).
What kinds of damage can the AI fix?
Faded colours, yellow / sepia colour casts, low contrast, mild blur, scratches, noise grain, low-light underexposure, and partial damage. Heavily torn or missing-piece photos may show some artifacts.
Do I need to scan the photo, or can I just snap it with my phone?
A phone snap usually works well as long as the photo is in focus, well-lit, and shot straight-on (not at an angle). For best results, place the photo flat under good light and avoid shadows or glare. A flatbed scan is even better if you have access to one.
How long does the restoration take?
After you pay and upload your photo, FotoFix runs automatically and your restored print ships in 3~4 days.
Will the original photo be kept private?
Yes. We never share your photos with anyone. Uploaded photos and personal data are automatically purged 30 days after shipping, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
